Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board Earth Station Antenna

O’Connor’s have signed a contract to install a new Standard A (16.4m) Satellite Earth Station terminal and related equipment in Dhaka, Bangladesh for Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board.

The base design includes a state-of-the-art 800W modular C-band QuadMod SSPA and a standard 16.4m antenna system with high wind option.

O’Connor’s will provide full turnkey services which include integrating the 16.4m motorised antenna with 800W HPA and other state-of-the-art subsystems like the IFL subsystem, LNA subsystem, up and down converter, and factory and field engineering services. The completed system will have full redundancy and backup for all the subsystems, and will help to improve the telecommunication infrastructure in Bangladesh for both data and voice transmissions.
