This research institute in Singapore’s Biopolis is part of the Singapore BioImaging Consortium ("SBIC"). O’Connor’s was selected as the specialist to fabricate and supply the lab furniture system and had less than six months from receipt of the order to hand-over. The challenge was met without any compromise to the very stringent requirements of the client and a tight schedule.

O’Connor’s worked with a world-class US-based consultant to design, fabricate and install a state-of-the-art, laboratory furniture system for the Center for Molecular Medicine, modeled on the laboratory set-up in one of the best research institutes in the world.

This prestigious research institute in the National University of Singapore was rebuilt in 2005. O’Connor’s redesigned and installed an innovative laboratory furniture system; which based on the workflow of the laboratory, allows for large equipment to be placed on the bench tops without disrupting operations. The Reagent Rack System above the Island Benches allow for open shelves to be easily reconfigured to and from cabinets with swing or sliding doors.
